Fishing and Outdoor Club - Sponsored by Al Shiling
Meets the 2
nd Friday of every month in person. Meets online 4
th Friday of each month online for planning and business. All meetings and activities, unless otherwise indicated, begin at 9 AM. The purpose of the Fishing and Outdoor Activity Club is to give LVS students in grades 6-8 the opportunity to learn more about terrific outdoor activities such as fishing that our area is known for. From aquatic and outdoor safety to basic knot tying, selecting bait and lures, to more advanced saltwater fishing and other outdoor activities, the FOAC is your ticket to leave the computer behind and get down with what nature has to offer. We will learn about the habitats, ecosystems, and resources that are around where we live and what we can do to enjoy and preserve them. Parent volunteers and participation is gladly accepted! Dues are $10. Some activities may have additional costs.
