Community Service Opportunitites

 CommunityServiceLog.doc - Whether you are earning volunteer hours for Bright Futures, scholarship opportunities, NHS or NJHS, it is important you stay organized and keep track of your hours.  The attached log can help you!  However, ultimately you need to submit a letter written on official agency letterhead with the total number of hours earned, dates of attendance and general list of duties performed.  Be sure to give this to your school counselor/teacher.

Lee Virtual School has numerous volunteer opportunities!  We are ALWAYS in need of help.  Please review this list of opportunities and RSVP:

Prepare for first day of school.

  • When: Any day
  • Time:8:00-4:00pm
  • Where: Lee Virtual School Office
  • Duties: prepare for first day of school, assist with general office duties: organize, file, sort, etc
  • Dress: School Appropriate Casual 

Elementary School Orientation

  • When: Tuesday, August 11 
  • Time:1:00-3:00pm and/or 6:00-8:00pm
  • Where: LCPEC via the North Entrance
  • Duties: provide information to potential students/parents, set-up/tear-down
  • Dress: Smart Casual (LVS attire, preferred)
Middle/High School Orientation
  • When/Time: Wednesday, August 12 @ 1:00-3:00pm; Thursday, August 13 @ 1:00-3:00pm; Tuesday, August 18 @ 6:00-8:00pm; Wednesday, August 19 @ 6:00-8:00pm
  • Where: LCPEC via the North Entrance
  • Duties: provide information to potential students/parents, set-up/tear-down
  • Dress: Smart Casual (LVS attire, preferred)

Information Nights

  • When: September 24; October 22; December 3; January 7, 2016; February 18; March 17; Aprill 21; May 19
  • Where: LVS Office, East Entrance
  • Time: 5:00-8:00pm
  • Duties: set-up/tear-down, present LVS experience, demonstrate coursework, discuss expectations, interact with potential students/parents, etc
  • Dress: Smart casual (LVS attire, preferred)
