August 17, 2012After having the chance to experience lee virtual school I have to say that it is truly a great experience. It is something that is very new and makes you want to explore it. It allows you to complete work and get the credit you need on your time and in the comfort of your own home. Great opportunity! Meet with a representative for the school after doing the online application! Was nice to see how much the staff cares for the students. They seem to have a multiple things in place to help ensure a positive experience with virtual school.

Teacher is very Attentive. Ms. Ausman is an amazing teacher. She is always supportive, helpful, and overall patient! Sometimes it's difficult to understand Algebra, but she makes it so easy. No matter what she's doing, she's always available to help you! She has converted the Algebra EOC exam into an everyday test for us! I've been on FLVS for 3 years and started this year with Ms. Ausman in Lvip and I love it.

A Great Way to Learn!!!!! I love the program and I'm always recommending it to families. All the teachers are super and they are right there when you need them. We like when the school has field trips and monthly get togethers. DBA's and monthly calls are another great tool used in the program.

Teacher is always accessible Mr. Miller is a fantastic teacher. He is very patient with my son and is always available for consultation, review and assessment. We have had a great experience with Lee Virtual School!

We love Lee Virtual!!!! This program has been a blessing for my daughter! She has ADHD and auditory processing problems. Sitting in a regular school setting she misses a great deal only to have to be re- taught it when she comes home and is exhausted. Lee virtual lets us work at her pace and we can pull other resources from the internet as necessary to ensure understanding. The staff is WONDERFUL and supportive. Questions are always dealt with quickly. She went from struggling to a straight A student. We LOVE it!

About Us
Lee Virtual Instruction Program is a self-selecting, student/parental choice program for kindergarten through grade 12 students whose primary residence is Lee County, Florida.
We
were established in 2009 in accordance with
s. 1002.45 of the Florida Statutes in order
to provide students with high quality,
full-time instruction in an online
environment. LVIP provides part-time and
full-time virtual school opportunities for
grades 6-12. Additionally, we offer
full-time virtual school for grades K-5.
This
progressive choice program is providing
expanded educational services to a wider
student community for anywhere, anytime
learning via Internet instruction along with
traditional teaching materials. All of
our instructors meet the State of Florida
DOE state certification and requirements for
highly qualified teachers.

| Grades K-5 We offer curriculum provided by Calvert Educational Services in order to provide rigorous, highly customized learning environments for our students in kindergarten through grade 5. For information on the 2012-13 curriculum, please click here. Lee Virtual Instruction Program offers curriculum provided by world-renowned Calvert Educational Services and provides your child with a tailored program of learning designed to meet his/her specific educational needs and goals. Each Calvert course combines the best classroom-tested materials, teacher-created Lesson Manuals, and proven educational methodologies all in one complete, meticulously planned curriculum that guides through each day of instruction with easy-to-use lesson plans. Public virtual elementary school programs are now hosted in Florida school districts. These programs are part of the state mandated public school virtual instructional legislation of 2008. Grades 6-12 We offer an accredited high school diploma. All Lee Virtual School and our partner Florida Virtual School teachers meet the State of Florida DOE state certification and requirements for highly qualified teachers. Lee Virtual School franchise serves middle and high schoolers and is open to Lee County students in 6th-12th grades. Students may enroll as part-time or full-time participants in this program. Public school, private school, home education students and students new to Lee County are eligible to apply. NOTE: All full time LVS students must carry six courses. The only exception would be for a student needing less than the full course load to graduate or advance to the next grade level. Important enrollment information regarding Level 1 Reading students: Any student reading at Level 1 in grades 9-12 is required, by state statute to receive daily reading instruction. Level 1 students who enroll in the full time Lee Virtual Instruction Program will be required to attend an assigned school for this reading instruction or register as a home education student.
